More local Inhabitants

These images portray the Rawsons’ reaction to dingoes and the local bird life who seem to consume quantities of their garden. The pleasures of butterfly netting are being enjoyed by Charley and Mr Lacy, the results would have seemed quite exotic to newcomers to North Queensland.

‘Hush Ned, I’m going to catch twenty at least. Isn’t it a grand idea!’ Charley and Lacy to the Nyth in morning. Lacy left in aft having borrowed “Count” for a trip to Broadsound. Charley Winney & Paddy to the Nyth at 3pm. Ned walked back with them. Decima doing the complete bird-catcher
